I know that this is the page for Putah Creek fishing report, and because it's the most viewed topic, I decided to post it. Our local fly fishing club ( the Stanislaus Fly Fishers ) will be hosting The 2009 Fly Fishing Film Tour in Modesto at the State Theatre this coming Thursday, March 5, at 6:00 PM. If it weren't for the fact that it will benefit post traumatic stress veterans, I would not post a message that many may consider spam. All proceeds will be donated to Rivers of Recovery, a non-profit organization that provides scholarships for two days of guided fly fishing on Utah's Green River to local veterans. Ticket information is provided on the State Theatre link above. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and we hope you will support this important event. I apologize if this post offends anyone.
