Who is ready for another fly swap? This time the fly swap will be a fundraiser for the Putah Creek Trout Organization. The idea for this swap came from SK60 and the goal is to gather 12 sets of 12 flies which are proven putah creek fish catchers. The flies would then be donated to PCT, for them to use to raise some money. So I am looking for 10 guys, or ladies, who would be willing to tie for this swap. Now you do not have to give up your secret flies, but maybe some basic proven fish catchers. It has also been requested to include in this set a Glossoma (saddle case maker) larval imitation and adult soft hackle which have been increasing in numbers on PC.I will start us out with my version of a WD-40 and a birdsnest. If some of you guys are interested in tying more than one type of fly please feel free to sign up for more. After all this is going to a good cause. SK60 If I have left anything out please add.

Thanks WT. You got it perfectly right: examples of fish catching patterns from our local experts. All proceeds from the sales of the sets will go to supporting PCT's programs (go to our web site for a refresher). Thanks to all who can contribute to this effort.
I think a reasonable deadline would be late March.
Thanks to all of you for your generous support. The Fly Shop is providing a small fly box with foam inserts to house each set, so these flies will make a very nice collection.
just got some flies in the mail from Rippenlips... they look sick... some lucky bastard is going to end up with some great looking flies... I might just have to look into buying a set.
