I read week after week about people that ask questions about spawning trout on putah.Some want to know what a redd is ,what it looks like.Others want to get out and fish, but dont know where a good spot is that wont disturb the spawners and so many other unanswered questions. I want to do more for those that want to learn more about the creek during the spawn.I will meet any and all who want to take a walk down the creek and get an on the water tour and education about putah and how to help preserve it during this time of the year. I will put up another post listing the days that would work for me. Anyone who want to meet up is more than welcome.If any of the other member would like to join me and add a different perpective they are also more than welcome... sometimes you have to stop talking about it and just make the effort to do something for those that want to learn....Iam sorry it took me so long to figure it out.

I think this a great idea. Thanks for bringing up the offer mx19. I have a feeling this issue keeps a lot of new comers, like myself, off water in order to avoid an embarrassing situation by someone catching them fishing near a redd without their knowing it. If possible I'd like to join you guys. Also, I'd like to get together and fish with any other beginners out their who might be interested.

Yeah, this is right up my alley! I know for the most part where and when I'll find "redds", but the additional information is what I look forward to the most. PLEASE, post when this is kicking off, and I'll be there. I'm bringing a trash bag too........
I realize in reading your post, what a loner I usually am when I fish. As such, there's alot to admit that I don't know. So maybe now that I know what I don't know, I can fix the problem.
