Starlight Leech--I found this fly while google'ng the web. It's an easy tie and might be a neat fly for steelhead. Follow this link for a look:

Anyone tried it? I've already tied up 8 in various colors. Don't know if I want to tie another 6 or 8? Sometimes I need to control myself, as I often take a fly better then the fish. But, it looks soooo good!
The Starlight Leech is a staple fly in my Steelhead box. I haven't used it much lately, but I know it works. I tie it up on a traditional up eye Steelhead hook. It just looks better.
i used one last yr on the american, it worked very well.
