Went out to the Little Truckee for the first time ever last Friday. Fished about 1-2 miles down from the dam. Got on the water by 8:30 and was out of there around noon. It was COLD that morning; 22 degrees! Spent much of the first hour knocking off ice until it warmed up. I didn't have as much action as Brian and JT, but it was still a pretty good day. I landed 4, lost 2 and missed quite a few others. The first fish was a 12" brown, the only one I caught that day. The other three were rainbows; 10", 18" & 18"-20". I don't have the pics yet, but I will post them later. I enjoyed the Little T. I'm heading up to Tahoe for the Holidays and will have to add that to my list along with the Carson. Next, I might finally try the Truckee. Thanks all for your help!
nice way to go, especially your first time on the LT. way to whack um and stack um

Fishing isnt about catching fish, its not about who caught the most, or who caught the biggest, its about the experience that you have on the water, and the life long bonds you make with others on the journey to becoming a better person inside.
