as soon as i read it i figured thats what mx was doing. funny stuff. but hey lets not bring the broken rods into play, thats a low blow. those was some tough times seeing my 7wt broken by ups, and my 5wt broken by a tree that jumped out of no where. all is good now though. funny thats all i can say.

Don't you guys get it? This post is a spoof of all the posts that are routinely made, day after day on this forum.
Day, by day, by day.....
LOL.
Beats squinting at the computer screen for a half hour to read play by play reports w/ a side report of the actual drive to the river. I don't want to mention any names........(BRIAN!)
We all know MX19 doesn't fish, he sings "here fishy, fishy" and they jump in the boat.
ok i wont do play by play anymore. hopefully that will make a few happier. hahaha

Brian is the Chris Berman of fishing reports." I woke up, put on my pants, zipped up my zipper, after struggling with my shoes I got in my car. Stopped for a quick starbucks Joe.. I remember these days from back in the military. Saw a shooting star on the way, that means I'm gonna nail them today... My buddy at American fly told me that's a good sign. Did I mention I was in the military, that's why I consider myself an oldtimer. Finally made it to the river to find my secret spot was taken by a bait dunker. I tried to squeeze in, but the guy snapped my rod in half. Luckily I brought my 8 wt. So I went to my other secret spot that I found due to my high level of fish instincts....Boy am I smart. First cast I'm swinging my streamer and BOOM, fish on. This sucker tried to get me in the tree that was percisley 23 feet to my left...I learned good math when I was in the military. After a 3rd good run towards the tree, he finally got me in it. That's when I pulled out my scuba gear for times like this. I got the gear on in 38 seconds...I timed myself. I set the record in the military for fastest time at putting on scuba gear. Anyways, I swam down to where my fish was in the tree still attached to my 10 pound tippet. I finally grabbed him and stuck him in the net. I finally measured him with my imaginary measuring tape, and was 27 inches. I got a picture of him, but you won't see it for a few months along with the other 27 inchers I'll catch within that time... Anyone wanna go with me next time... I'm gonna put you on some fish, and don't worry, I don't charge a thing."
Just messing with you Brian.

Little Whipper, that was a funny post and Brian was a good sport about it. What is unigue about this forum is the information you get , supplied by the members. Where else will you hear about people falling in the water, eating blackberries, catching 20" fish that were LDR, naked people in the woods, poison ivey, people throwing rocks, and someone stealing garbage cans (Mx, I think I saw the guy who did that, he had it tied to a motorcycle and it was bouncing up Hwy 128)
This is a good way to start the Fall season and hopefully no Spawner/Redd/Snagger debate where people shouting and pointing fingers of "Fish Snagger" to insults like "shad eater" ( apologies to anyone who eats shad, to boney for me).
So Little Whipper here is hoping you catch a big brown and tell us a story and DTP saw your web site and loved the music, I always thought DTP stood for dance the polka, but I stand corrected.
So keep the stories coming if you catch a fish and if you don't, well fishermen have been known to stretch a bit.
I've fished with some of the people on the forum and hope to see more of you this weekend at the clean up. The only guy I have a problem with is that guy who carves fish, sometimes he really annoys me.
