well got a few days off in the upcoming week. the 28th and 29th, which is a tues and weds. just puttin a lil post out there to see if anyone is interested in gettin together with me and do some fishing. i am thinking either the little truckee, or the east carson. something like that. it wont be to long now until it will be closed down due to snow. so i need to get up there asap. the lil truckee has been fishing good. the browns and kokes are working their way up into the lil t to spawn, so you could get into a hat trick. flows are around 80 right now, so not to bad for this time of yr. the east carson, well its on as well, the fish are feeding and feeding a lot, great dry fly action right now, and the big fish are out.
if i do the lil truckee, ill be taking the gfs car, its a gas saver for sure. the east carson ill have to take the jeep due to the 4x4 trail that has been the hot ticket for me this yr.
if you want to go let me know. i am open either day, my other day off ill probably just hit up the american, got a buddy that told me about a nice spot near his school so i might have to give that a try.
again if you are interested, i have room for one, whether i am in the civic or jeep. just shoot me a pm, email me or call. 530-354-3740
see you on the water brian

Wish I could fish during the week, but I'm stuck with the weekends. I'll be fishing the E. Carson Saturday or Sunday. 24 degrees in the morning....brrrr, looks like I'll break out the waders for the first time. I'll give you a report when I get back.
sounds good thank, cant wait to here the report. do you normally fish the 4x4 trail area

Mixed bag, I fish both about the same. I'm taking my dad out for the first time ever this weekend so I will probably hit the trail to get away from any crowds. Some of my favorite holes and runs are closer to Hangman's though.
How do you think I should start my dad out? Have him throw an Oct. Caddis dry? Throw a nymph under an indicator?
throw a october caddis dry with a dropper, maybe a stone dry, with a baetis dropper, rs2, something along those lines. or just roll with a white mayfly dry size 18, light cahils are great up there too. good luck. pm me when you get back and let me know how it went.
