Hi folks, It's been a while since I've posted anything because I haven't fished Putah since the winter. Stayed around the bridge yesterday and had alot of fun with a mixture of planters and "natives". I was able to get about 15-20 fish to the net / hand which was only about a third of the fish that were hooked . It's amazing how adept these Putah 'Bows are at spitting the hook back out you. I can't remember ever having such a tough time landing hooked fish than yesterday! Best fish landed was a tuna shaped 15" hen and the rest were all between 10-13". I fished a dropper nymph rig with assorted caddis and micro may combinations. Most fish took a # 20 variation of the "anatomay" . The legs really make the difference! Tight lines, Viking.
