I thought I had recently read something saying that Alaskan's recently rejected a bill which would have rejected the proposed pebble mine project, however I now cannot seem to find it. Did anyone else hear this? Or does anyone else have an update on the situation?
Measure 4 was passed a couple of weeks ago and will pave the way for Pebble Mine. It is really sad that this has already happened. Sarah Palin was one of the key voices supporting Measure 4 abd Pebble Mine. You would hope she would want to protect her state's natural beauty and ecological resources...
Might have to spend some time on Google, and fliers in all the fly fishing mags give some info.
