Conefish and I Fished the upper sac and lower mccloud from the 29th-1st and couldnt find the big ones. We each caught around 8 or 9 a day the biggest being only 15 out of the whole trip. It was no problem finding the small ones though.

If you want to have fun on the lower Mccloud though, just throw on a caddis or a adams and the bats will go crazy! I caught 2 in 10 minutesbiggrin.gif

15 incher is small confused, The average rainbow trout in north america is about 10 inches. Looks like a great time, 2 of my all time favorite rivers. Hoping to make a run up that way for another try at the october caddis, I tryed it last year but it just had not happened yet.
