ive heard people are catching brook trout in the sierras....i was wondering if anyone woud be willing to tell me where i could fish for em....you can pm me if you dont feel comfortable telling everyone your place

are you just interested in streams or would you consider fishing a lake? (if lake, PM me).

as far as a stream goes....about a mile after you hike up from big meadow trailhead (south shore tahoe) on your way to round lake youll find big meadow, it has a nice stream running through it with plenty of brook trout...just remember to bring your bug spray, mosquitos are viscious there.

Pretty much any water in Yosemite holds Brook trout...especially higher up like off of Tioga Pass or off Glacier Point Road. Smaller size but many.

Clark fork of the stanislaus, easy to find easy to get to and full of the little guys. You should have no problem finding it yourself.
