Quick report:  Camped at the confluence of the E. Carson and Wolf cr (Just past the 88/89 split to Monitor pass) over the weekend for a Jeep run.

There were a bazillion people along the E. Carson from Hangmans bridge to the 88/89 split.  I let my kids fish Wolf cr just above the E. Carson and there were no shortage of 10"-12" planters.  My daughter caught her first fish.  The further from the campground the more fish you found.  I seriously doubt that many people actually hike more than a hundred yards or so above the bridge.

Both Wolf cr and the E. Carson had a glacial silt color/cloud to it with roughly 2ft of visibility.  Water levels were down but it didn't seem to bother the fish.

I drove past Hangmans bridge three times in three days and only saw a couple of cars parked on the third time by.  Didn't appear to be much pressure downstream from Hangmans.

Heavy thunder bumpers moved in Saturday night/Sunday morning with some downpours over Luther and up towards Blue lakes.
