Regular Flies in Salt water archipelago?

Hi,

I am wondering if it is possible to use regular flies such as nymphs, streamers, or dry flies etc... in salt water in general. What I mean by if they will work is are the hooks fine with the salt and the materials on the flies, or will the salt damage the flies somehow, and this is if not using specific salt water flies?

Thanks!

Seabass, im not too sure about it but i used to live in Miami and started all my flyfishing
in sal****er. The flies should be fine in sal****er, i remember i used to use some copper johns and wd40 for the mangroves for fishing small snappers and bluerunners. They probably might not last as long becuase of the fish, but you should be OK. I say give it a try!!! take care..
