Fished putah from the float tube today from about 3:30 till 7. Not a single detected bite. There were alot of midges on the water. My day was cut a bit short because I took my worst dunking ever biggrin, Funny now, but not then. I beached the float tube and waded out to fish without taking the flippers off, I knew this was not a good decision, Anyways I ended up going all the way under, Dam that waters cold !

What happened to your rod Captain?  Broke my 6 Wt two days ago out there.  Nice to meet Yukon finally, although I'm sure we have crossed paths more than once.

Just curious, where's the best place to put a float tube in . . .where dunking is less likely?
