I was fishing to this big trout on access five, throwing everything in the box. I finally got him on a flashy olive wooly bugger that i had tied on my other rod and wasn't trying. It was a nice 23" wild rainbow trout

Live2fish, that's a great fish.  I'll bet that as long as you fish Putah you'll never forget the fish or how and where you caught it.  The memory will always be with you.

Great job!! To land a fish that size in these flows is a major accomplishment. The big boys are like rocket ships on steroids.

Hey there;

I think I know that fish.  Saw a big fish up there when the light was slanting into the water in the evening.  By the time I Saw him, he saw me though and was gone.
