PUTAH MARCH 14TH...

Fished Putah for a few hours on Friday with a couple pals. Went 1 for 3 with the one being about a 22" bow hen ( My Putah personal best). Rolled what looked like a brown larger than the hen, but my knot came undone...Goes to show not to hurry riggin' up. Didn't see any small fish like what others have posted...JW

i was up at the creek on friday afternoon as well for a few hours.  i had three takes all on a zebra midge in pocket water near faster sections - nothing was working for me at all in the slow parts. unfortunately i wasn't able to land a single fish, but that's just the way it goes sometimes.  i didn't see any other fish at all - the water was quite cloudy and silty (especially upstream) as others have noted. i did notice however that there was a lot less trash than usual around the trails.  i thought it has been a while since the last cleanup, but it looks like something is working up there...
