LOWER SAC MARCH 3RD...

Fished the Lower Sac with a couple good friends yesterday. Landed 20 for 25 average bows with the largest being about an 18" buck. Also earned the GRANDSLAM of the Sac with a rainbow, squaw, and sucker. I kept my chin up and washed that polecat smell off. And won a free dinner! JW

I heard it was going off yesterday! Good report. It seems like everytime I get up there the weather does not cooperate. What was the fly of choice and what stretch did you float? Grand slam, I think next time you should have to catch a sturgeon also.

I agree on the Sturgeon. We drifted from Anderson to Balls Ferry. They mostly hit on Caramel Prince Nymphs, CDC Prince Nymphs. A few on coffee/black rubber legs and yellow brain fly (Micro spawn). It was good shorts weather with a little wind and clouds, but not bad.

Sonofabitch! I knew it was coming along. Nice job, dude, way to go. A buddy fished it Sunday and reported it fishing very well.
