Tried the "slow ass water" (SAW) technique this morning around FA#3. Had one miss in the middle of a 5 minute drift, otherwise quiet. Water clarity greatly improved from earlier. Solano Lake is on the rise. Attached is image of the flow levels for the past year. If pattern is followed this year, flows will start increasing in a few weeks.

   well i started at the bridge got a few hits furious  moved down got hits and that was that....moved down to where bono had taken me a couple a weeks ago hooked 2 one was the biggest i have gotten on the pu...he was about in his 20s got him to hand took a pic an let him on his merry way..the pic dosent do it justice all i had was cell ph. 2nd one about 14 gave me a better fight...that big one was a pig...biggrin

  thanks emerger.....he wasent much of a fighter shuke his head 4-5 times took out maybe 15 feet of line and that was itconfused

I've been reading that a lot from other posters on the board and have experienced the same thing myself. At least on the ones I've caught they were spawned out. Big and tired.
