I got my putah creek questionaire and aireal map. I'm not sure were I send the questionaire after I fill it out. I figured some of you may also have the same question. Kbigelow or Bono I am sure can answer this question. Pretty cool maps.
I would think that you would send it back to the Solano County Water Agency. Their mailing address should be on the front of the envelope you received.

Unless you make changes or additions keep the maps. I made copies of the pages I had additions on to cut the weight. My question--Is there a biologist or person we address it to?
There is a professional fisheries biologist doing the investigation for the Solano County Water Agency (SCWA). Since the papers were mailed from the SCWA, I believe they should be returned to them. I'm sure the SCWA will get the papers to the biologist.

I just received my survey and aerial plates today. Since there were no directions in the packet I would like to confirm that in addition to filling out the survey, we are to also mark spawning locations on the aerial plates?
For all those members who are participating in the Survey, please fill out the questionaire and mark any spawning areas that you are aware of on the maps.
A self addressed stamped envelope has been mailed to you to return the survey and maps in.
If you have any other questions please feel free to PM me or email me.
Thanks for participating.

Sorry to all for jumping in so late on this topic,I've not been around much so have not logged on to the site in a few days.Looks like things are under control and all questions are answered (Thanks Kieth and JT!).We didnt send out these forms to every member here,we just kind of randomly picked out a handful of members that fish Putah and have a long history of fishing Putah to fill out the forms.I'm not sure if we can get more out or if SCWA even wants any more.If they do we'll let you know.
i just got mine on thursday, there should be the maps, a map key, and then information on putah creek interdam reach idr trout fishery, it asks questions and what not. as far as instruction, if you know of any place where there is fish spawning mark it on the map, it can be minor or major doesnt matter, if you know of spots that have had spawning fish in it in the previous yrs but not this one, mark it, and then answer the question in the packet.
one question,
what if you do not mark anything on the map, just send back the packet without the putah map?

Fishing isnt about catching fish, its not about who caught the most, or who caught the biggest, its about the experience that you have on the water, and the life long bonds you make with others on the journey to becoming a better person inside.
For those who received the Spawning Survey, please mark on the maps only those places that you have personally seen fish actively spawning in the past couple of years.
