Fished the trinity friday with a good friend and one of his buddys.....Steelhead season is coming to the end on the trinity...Fishing was a bit slower than last week and all the steelhead I caught were on there way out of the system..
Still a lot of guides on the water with mixed fishing reports, some good ,some not so good...I hooked and landed 3 fish all around that nornal 25 inch size and one small brown to fishing out the day..my fishing buddys for the day jumped a few fish but none landed..I think this was my last trip up to the trinity for the season..Coastal steelie's here I come...

Fished the Trinity on Friday. Trinity Steelies have eluded me for several trips up this year. That is why winter Steelhead fishing is the most hated and most loved fly fishing for myself. I look at it like the old cliche...I'd rather have a bad day fishing than a good day working! JW
