I was the only one out there 1130-230. Sunny, getting warm, water clear, slow, and low. Skunk at the easy spots so I went exploring and found some holes. But again, I didn't see any fish. I threw a little anyways.
A lot of o the shoreline is moist, muddy and slippery. Be careful.
I was surprised that you found clear water on the 2nd. I popped over during the Superbowl on Sunday and the water at access 5 looked like chocolate milk. It was a little better farther up, but still pretty cloudy. It sounds like the creek had already cleared up by yesterday, so maybe the fishing will improve as well this week.
Yes, that was me and my buddy Andan. We went upstream from you into some shallower water. The amount of silt on the bottom was amazing. We crossed the creek where the bottom is normally rocky and sunk 6 or 8 inches in mud with every step. Hopefully the spring releases will clean that out. We had no better luck there than at access 5. We are going to try some lake fishing this weekend and I'll probably try Putah next week. Good to meet you.
