The only shuttle I know of (Burke's) is shut down for the winter. I have heard a popular float is to start at Memorial Beach in Healdsburg and end at Steelhead Beach in Forestville. Total bummer the River got blown out this week. It barely became clear enough for spin/bait fishing last weekend.

A shorter trip is to float from Memorial Bridge and pull out at Wohler Bridge.

Wohler Bridge is a long hike from the river back to the parking lot carrying a kayak.  Steelhead, you can drive down to the river to load up your kayak.

If you let me know when you're coming, I might be talked into shuttling you.  I live two minutes from the River and have several days off during the week.  Or, maybe we can figure out a way that I can float with you on my pontoon boat leaving one car on each end.

Send me a message if you are interested.  I will provide a phone # when needed.

I would call the old Trowbridge number.  I don't know what it is.  It's in Healdsburg right at Memorial bridge where I am.  Google away.  It's under new ownership as of last year.  They have a couple nice looking little used pram aluminum style drift boats out front too.  They are small but I think both would be perfect for solo trips.

River has dropped 15+ feet so far.   The color is still way off and the river still out of its banks.   Within a week, it could be good though.
