Those are cool. A little clickin,a little weed-lessness.  That's the cool thing about some of the steelie flies I have been making.  Depending on what side you tie the eyes on they ride hook up.  Comets and Kilowatts are two good examples.

Hey Cole speaking of Steelhead how is the Russian doing with this storm? Have you hooked into any of those Russian Steelies? How about patterns for the Russian.

Well Otter, we were hoping for scattered rain for five straight days. You have to be optimistic when watching storms. This morning was a very different story. The rain will continue until at least mon. That means two more weeks at least of mud water and then recovery. We JUST went through that out here. Last thur thru sun were very good for my bait buddies. These guys are cool though, barbless, catch release the whole shot. There are some incredible fish in there right now. 12lb. not uncommon. So hard to beat the rain.  There was snow here two days ago and some hasn't melted off the eastern peaks yet.  I put in two hard days, four hour shift in the rain both times.  It's hard out here for a pimp!biggrin

Speaking of snow, there was snow on the hills west of Dixon near the mouth of the canyon to Putah Creek this week.
