That was really great for you to take your time and try and do something positive and a damn looser has to go and take the cans ! What the hell is wrong with these people.

thats what happens when upscale people like us try to have something so beautiful and peacefull to go to, and you have scumbag trailer trash peices of **** come and ruin it for us. we should do it again, and put on some camo and wait for those F..KERS to take them again and beat the **** out of um. it may not fix things. but it will sure feel good while we was doing it. ill bring the panty hoes. hahaha

That was good of you to put those garbage cans out there.  That totally sucks that someone would steal them.  It was probably the same geniuses that throw trash everywhere.  What are they gonna do with trash cans?

Question fellas, once the creek goes to fly fishing only for the winter does it generally clean up untill the bait casters come out again?

I might be able to make it up there Monday or Wednesday in the evening.  Saturday morning works for me as well.

Any chance Solano County Parks might have taken the cans? I am not certain the Parks Dept. maintains the unsigned parking areas near the bridge, but if it does, maintenance staff will generally remove trash cans or any other improvements people install...good or bad. You might want to check with Solano County before sinking posts. I would hate to see you go through the effort to only have them ripped out.

In any case, you get some good karma points for your effort.

Hey mx...I'll be glad to help or donate a can or too. Just let me know. I was picking up a bag of trash at the big lot above the bridge a couple of weeks ago while these two guys were getting their gear on to kayak. One of them thanked me for picking up the trash and mentioned he used to be a warden up there. I looked at him and asked why I never see a warden up there...ever, and why there isn't any kind of a bin or dumpster at these two lots....there are trash cans at the other access lots and along the lake going towards napa. He said there had been a trash bin there at one time, but that people would haul in their garbage from home and dump it and that there had been a problem with someone dumping something toxic in the bin. As far as there being trash bins along the lake pull outs...that is napa county, the lot above the bridge is solano county and they can't get their ......together to get things done. I am so freakin sick of looking at beer cans, soda cans, empty water bottle, empty gatorade and power ade bottles, discarded clothing, beer bottles, empty beer case boxes, night crawler containers, stinky bait jars, dirty diapers, used paper towels, endless yards of fishing line, old socks, empty jerky packages, used paper plates, fast food trash, empty candy wrappers and popcicle wrappers....did I mention the dirty diapers...people who leave used diapers along a beautiful place like that should not be allowed to have children! It is truly a said testament to the human race to see the amount of trash and discrespect that is heaped upon Putah Creek. Just say the word MX and I'll be there to help.

Oh yeah, I've seen that car... And for the record Capatin, that empty jerky package wasn't mine... lol.

i got 2 more trash cans already...Im going to chain them to a post or something...Iam tired of the trash as well...I will give it a nother shot...we will see what happens...

The 2nd set of trash cans are still in my garage..I have not had a chance to bring them up to the creek...I have been up to the creek but every time it was in a smaller car .
