Name this bug. The fish are chasing caddis in various spots along the creek. The fly is a size 14 poohpah. Hares ears in large sizes are also working. The trick is to swing the flies at the end of drift or to twitch the flies in the drift. Saw mykissman on the creek on tuesday. I was wondering about your handle and didn't comprehend the explanation. I googled the word and figured it out. Mykiss is a rainbow trout.

Fishing isnt about catching fish, its not about who caught the most, or who caught the biggest, its about the experience that you have on the water, and the life long bonds you make with others on the journey to becoming a better person inside.
Oncorhynchus mykiss is the scientific name for a rainbow trout.
Those caddis larvae (net-builders) hang in moving water. They rely on the current to bring them their food. They're pretty good sized right now. They've got to be getting ready to pupate.
