It's been along time since i threw out a post, and its been a real long while since i fished the creek, well about 5 weeks. Which is way too long for me not to be fishing (since i usially fish the creek 2-3 times aweek, for the past 5 years), but my time off from the creek was all for good reason with my wife just having a baby, I had to get my family time in. But now I can go hit the creek again, finally! Don't get me wrong, haning out at the house with the wife and newborn is fun but It's time to fishing. I just wanted to let ya'll know that reading all your reports for the past 5 weeks has been my little fix, for my lil itch to go fishing, and it helps just reading reports, it lets me feel like I still know whats going on at the creek. Fly fishing is my drug, and I have been going threw withdrawls, so now its time to go get my fix! and It seems like fishing has been pretty good too. Can't wait to get out there..!
well i would like to be the first to say congrates to you and your wife on your new born, and also on gettin back to putah. its always a pleasure to see a veteran of such a great fishery back in the full swing of things. hope to see you out there.

Right on Nic, congrats on the baby and for surviving that long without fishin the creek. Go get em. JT, congrats to you as well. You'd better finish up that school thing and get you a real job to support the family. As for me the wife and I just talk about having kids, until we do we just practice alot.

I have an amazing wife - that's why I get to fish a lot even though I have a new one. She's three months now. To be fair, I don't think I went fishing until she was about a month old - but who knows.
I miss my little girl when I fish and I miss my fishing when I'm with my family.
But - they want me to be happy and fishing helps make me happy. Lucky me!
Anyway - congrats to all you new fathers and fathers to be. It's amazing!
