I fished the creek on Friday evening with Cole. I hooked quite a few fish, landing 4. The biggest was about 15". 2 fish were landed on a #22 black midge, and the other 2 were landed on a #10 olive bugger. I didn't see many insects besides the millions of tiny black midges that line the banks. It was a pretty nice day despite the wind.

Went out Monday and fished one of the spots JT and I hit. LDR'd a pig. Second time that's happened there. Two fish, and four flies missing. Ahh yes, 6X heaven. Two hours later and I still can't get the skunk out of the boat. Moved spots and started taking lots of candy from lots of little babies. Nothing huge but high number days are sometimes rare at the creek. Couldn't seem to keep them off a certain color!
I can see into your future. It involves dragging your butt down to the creek and wacking some trout. Just got back from another great day. Luckily I had today off and the whole place to myself. Every rock the size of a basketball had two and three fish behind it. I was catching fish in places I normally stand in to reach better water. Pick your six favorite Putah flies and use em. They all work. Once again nothing too huge but mostly natives 12"-16". The fish are thick and healthy which means they aren't missing lunch if you know what I'm sayin! Tight lines, Cole.
