Just made it back from a 5 day trip to the middle fork stanislaus and the fishing was excellent, pretty consitent action everyday for 6 to 12 inch rainbows and browns, I got one brown that was pushing 18 inches and the other is 14 inches, pics. are below. Please dont give me crap for keepin a few fish, this river is packed with fish. Also released another brown that was 17" that thing made a jump that I'll never forget. The large fish in the pic had alot of ladybugs in it, I think he was hanging out under a tree eating stuff that was falling into the water. Most fish I caught were on pheasant tails, hares ears, copper johns, san jaun worms both red and brown, And a few on elk hares and a black mayfly imitations about size 16 and 18s. It's a long dusty dirt road to get there 15 miles takes about an hour each way, But well worth it.

Nice report, Captain.  It's always cool to see pics.
