Hello all,

I'm a newbie to this forum and just wanted to say hello.  I'm out of the SF bay area and stumbled upon Putah Creek after speaking with one of the IT guys here.

I spent many years fishing gold medal and blue ribbon waters in colorado then a few years doing the same in utah.  Also fished around tailwaters in new mexico and idaho.

Been struggling to find fly fishing trout water not too far from the bay area but Putah Creek seems to be within driving distance.  The last time I went out I went to the McCloud.  That was a blast.

Anyway, I'll be going through the forum trying to get as much info as I can to join you all in appreciating what the Putah has to offer.  I'm looking for wadable trout waters [fast or slow] doesn't matter to me.  Nor does cover on or offshore.  Any tips on location on the creek or anything else would be appreciated.  I've been back in the bay area for 10years and have greatly missed the time on any river.

Tight lines,
sensei
