I just checked the flows and they have made another dive. They were at 291 cfs as of this evening. The recent rains have helped water the fields, so I guess the irrigation needs are minimal. Flows around 300 cfs are my favorite, but with all the fluctuations, I'd be afraid to wade into some of my favorite spots. The changes in flows has the fish moving around as well.

I agree with you JT. When I was out I could see the spots where the creek dropped...and dropped. Radical flow changes can be a real pain to fish, especially since I have found that the fish concentrate on finding new holes rather than on feeding during them. A 50% decrease in flows like we have seen probably will through the fish off for a couple of days.
