Just out of curiosity... Does anybody have a "life time" liscense? I was thinking about putting down the $600 or so (Im 25 so thats the prorated price) because they just go up and up and up. At this rate they will be $50-60 in the not too distant future. And another thing is how much better of a service are we getting for the $1+ rate increase each year? I understand the "economic factors" but are there better management programs in place, better fish stocks, and so forth being implemented or are we just paying more and more without much improvement on the DFG side. I was just wondering what is really going with my money because to me even $38 is a lot of money.
I don't have a lifetime license. I didn't know that such a thing existed. If you're young, it might just be worth it the way that prices are increasing. Where would you go to but one? I don't imagine that you could buy one anywhere licenses are sold.

thats a good thought i forgot about lifetime licenses, im 33 so it might be worth it, i bet you have to get one directly from the dfg, another thing that they need to do, that alot of other states do is offer licenses you cann buy online then they mail it to you.
You can buy them online now I think and also in the Regs book I think that there is info on them in there. My main question though is are the yearly fee increases justifiable? null
