If you tie your own you can make stuff that works sooooooo much better. imo the creek you don’t really cast. Get down from the butt as quick as possible and make a long section of flexible line like 8 lb. So much easier to get a good drift and also sinks way faster with less weight. I've seen a number of posts on this thread referring to a November / December spawn on Putah Creek. My understanding is that generally rainbows spawn in the late winter or spring. Is this different on the Creek? I certainly don't want to fish over spawning fish. Thanks.
