Viable Flows?

Hey Forum Folks!

I am a newcomer to this discussion, as I have finally begun making visits to Putah with some measured success.

I'm just curious... what's the CFS zone for "ideal fishing" on the creek, and when does it reach "utterly un-fishable?" I see that the current flow is pushing 680, but I don't know what constitutes a "no-go."

thanks in advance. I hope to be a useful contributor!

Signed,
The guy who fishes in a floppy hat.

Anything above 150 cfs is best.

There isn’t a no go flow. Clarity has more to do with unfishable conditions. We caught fish at 3000 last year

Usually between 150 to 450 ccs is accessible water. It’s flowing at its normal Summer flows now.
Tough to wade safely. Be careful out there if you decide to go.
