Measure C ?

I've read the language of it but most of it seems insignificant vs the amendments made since 1968. Besides most winery owners say early nineties was too late to put in vineyard  /winery on a slope.

I think measure C makes sense to protect the riparian areas around streams and oak growths. The only people opposed to it seem to be wineries and agriculture because they want to be able to grow grapes without limitations. Is it worded perfectly? Probably not.

Actually, some of us against it believe it is insufficient. Should also severely restriction mansion/housing development, as well as items noted by Skol. Needs to go back to the drawing board IMHO.

Any measure to protect our waterways I am open minded to.

I heard a KQED forum show with afew folks giving history and opinions,
www.kqed.org/forum/2010101865180/election-2018-napa-county-measure-c-shows-fight-between-preservation-and-development
I think I got the whole link in but it can be found found fairly easily. Unfortunately I think the pro AG preserve folks have had it pretty good for along time. There is a point at which you reach maximum density, but a consensus couldn't be found in years past, hence the voters initiative.
