The wife and I went for a little hike along the creek to check out the spawners since I'm headed to Trinity next weekend. It's great to see those fish are being extremely successful making beds were you can't access them with any type of fishing rod. Tons of fish at the usual site. We picked up at least 4 bags of garbage. 90% were beer cans and bottles. Maybe saw two-three fisherman. Good to see less pressure on the spawning fish.

How was the water clarity after the rain last week? I've been wondering if the river would get a lot of muddy runoff due to the fires.

It's really clear. Nothing's changed. I'm surprised it didn't turn to chocolate milk like last year from the creek inlet above the bridge.
