Just finished 2 weeks of fishing in Idaho, Wyoming and Montana, my annual trip.

Fished the South Fork of the Snake in Swan Valley Idaho, the Snake River in Jackson Wyoming, the Green River in Pinedale Wyoming, 3 days on the Boulder River east of Bozeman Montana and the Jefferson river near Ennis Montana.

Had some amazing fishing on all the rivers, especially the Boulder River.

The weather was mostly overcast and rainy.

Here's a few photos.

Great job Keith! I love catching big brownies! Fished the Truckee and a little lake nearby this summer and the count was 98% brown trout. I can tell you that all those rumors of brown trout not jumping like rainbows just isn't true. Haven't had that much luck with the cutthroats, but hope to get out to Pyramid this year. Sounds like I should check out the Boulder… Who was the guide? Thanks for all your work on the website!

I agree, the browns seem like the most aggressive trout in the rivers. The cutthroat seem "lazy" compared to the browns and rainbows.

The guide in Montana was Dennis Alverson out of Livingston, MT, near Bozeman
