Help me remove the golf-cart from #3!!

Cliff brought it to my attn that there is a golf cart half-submerged and pinned down under a tree at #3 at putah creek . I want to cut away the tree and remove the cart before its battery or steering unit leaks and pollutes the creek in some way. The tree is fairly large so I will need  two chain saws  in good running order and 3 or 4 other men to get it done . PS . I have taken a look at the site and belive it will take 1 day tops. Please respond to me on this thread or PM me . and for those that care to contact me by cell phone my # is  (707) 294-4738  Thanks Richard Loft (Napa)

Richard-I suggest you contact Yolo County before cutting up a tree even if its downed and in the creek.

It will help me determin weather or not I will be able to get any help this may be a mute point if no one is willing or able to take the time  ( 1 day tops ) away from work or other responsibllities to help getting this cart from under the tree . And I will contact yolo co  ,  I will also conact dgf or other others to get a release to do this work . can I just say this , I dont think I will get the go ahead  due to  county buerocacys meanwhile this golf cart lies waiting too become a toxic problem while I wait for an approvial from yolo county ? I say lets just get together and remove the cart . Thats just my two cents ! But I will take steves advice and contact the county.     AND IN THE MEANTIME ! , If the county approves this , Will I be getting any help ???

I'm game.....

Any reason a hand operated winch aka come-a-long couldn't pull it out?  I can get pretty creative if need be.

Hell, as far as that goes I've got a snatch block, tree savers, straps, 125 feet of winch line and a Jeep.

Getting it to the road and making it Caltrans problem or do we have a means of disposal?.

Monday if kind of iffy, I have some job junting issues to deal with but..................................

lets get er done

If the frame, etc., is salvageable, I have a home for it. Battery has to go to landfill recycle. Try not to rupture gas tank, even though only a small spill would occur. Yolo County has to make the call on what you can do and how to dispose of it.

That's part of the problem with our society now.  Permission from a governing agency to pick up garbage and being regulated in what to do with itnonono

Makes me wonder what hoops needed to be jumped through for the clean-up that took place recently.  Granted we needed to register/sign waivers?, sort the garbage and dispose of per regulations.

I backspace/deleted 90% of what I typed.....

We need white text!!!!!!!!!!!!
