UC Davis carpooling

I'm looking to meet some local fly fishers and organize a carpool up to Putah. I'd be interested in going directly after work for some evening fishing, or a weekend day trip. Send a PM or email me at v.s.buffalo (at) gmail (dot com).

I'm a day or two late on this, but if you or anyone else wants to carpool from davis, that'd be awesome. I've been going out to the creek 2-3 times a week, but my truck broke down on Friday and it's already killing me.

I'm carless, but I'm happy to split gas money when your truck's in better shape! I know Jon would be up for a trip too, and we could always meet up with the Napa folks on the river.

Sounds good. I'm going to ride over to the riparian reserve for a little fishing right now. I'll hopefully have a useable truck by next weekend.

Hey, I just got my truck back and I'm planning on going out to the creek Friday about 11:30am. Anybody want to come along?

I would be up for it, but I screwed up my knee. I should give it a full week and a half before going out. Normally I'd go in an instant!

By the way, I think your avatar beats both Bob and Alastair's records for smallest fish caught on a dry.

Yeah, that fish was ridiculous. I was on the sac fishing a spot where I could see fish rising. I was getting strikes pretty much every cast but couldn't hook any of them. When I got this little guy, I realized I was fishing for fish the same size as my hooks.

No worries about not going. Just post up or send me a pm anytime you feel like carpooling and fishing.
