No New Posts Sage ZXL 490-4 (Preview)
Last October, I bought a Sage ZXL 9 foot 4 weight.  It was time to replace my old reliable Sage SP 490-3 that I sold to gent who said that he had to have that rod.  (I needed the money.)  I use this rod primarily for fishing dry flies and soft hackle wet flies. The rod is definitely an improvement over the SP. ...

No New Posts Reel Maintenance (Preview)
Still pretty new here.  What type of reel maintenance should I be doing and how often?  I also saw a few post about the line.  I typically just unwind everything every other time or so and wipe it down with a slightly damp cloth.  Any other tips to keep everything working smoothly?
